Ansmann is a German system supplier specialising in the development and manufacture of individual and mobile power requirements. It has over 20 years’ experience producing rechargeable batteries, battery packs, primary batteries, chargers and power supplies.

The company develops all components for hardware and software as well as mechanical data according to customer requirements. It also certifies the systems used and works with equipment manufacturers of drive systems and medical markets. The portfolio ranges from standard systems to user-interfaces with CAN bus, SM bus, PM bus 1²C.

As well as using leading Independent Test Houses, ANSMANN has its own fully equipped UN 38.3 and IEC62133 test centre for battery packs to ensure maximum safety during use and transportation. This includes Altitude simulation, Thermal Testing, Vibration, Shock, External Short Circuit, Impact/Crush, Overcharge and Forced Discharge etc.

In addition to bespoke systems for mobile energy, the company manufacturers rechargeable batteries and battery packs (NiMH, Li-Ion, Li-Po, lead acid) as well as primary batteries (lithium and alkaline). It also supplies system solutions (battery packs and chargers) according to medical standards as well as developing power supplies and charging solutions.

Development and manufacturing facilities are in Germany and China along with logistic centres in Europe, Asia and the USA.
